Is your comic book collection taking up too much room? Would you like to sell some or all of your collection but don't have the time to list everything on ebay? ComicHole.com takes the work out of liquidating your collection. Through our consignment services, we will
- Grade your books
- Price them accordingly based on what we think the market will bear
- Warehouse them in our climate controlled warehouse
- List and market them on our web site
- Answer all customer service related questions
- Ship and fulfill all orders
- Send you a check at the end of each month for the comics we have sold
There is no long term contract or agreement. If we aren't doing a good enough job or you want your unsold books back at any time, just let us know. We will need notice of at least 3 business days so we have time to remove the books from our site and fill any orders that have come in. Our fee for selling your books is 25% - 50% of the final sale price. Why such a wide range? It all depends on your collection. If most of your collection is new and is going to be sold at cover price or below, the percentage is going to be higher. If you have a lot of Golden and Silver age books and the average value of those books is higher, the percentage we keep will be lower.
To get started, please send an email to sellmycomics@comichole.com and include as much information as you can about the books you want to sell. If you can supply us with an excel spreadsheet listing the publisher, title and condition of each book, that would be great.
The Terms: We will accept most mainstream collections as long as the books are in Very Fine shape or better. If your collection consists of older books, we will not be as strict on the condition requirement. If you feel a particular book is worth a certain amount, you can provide us with a baseline price that you are not willing to go under. It will be your responsibility to send your collection to us and in the event that you want it returned to you, a return shipping fee will be charged. We reserve the right to refuse certain books. Reasons for refusal may be that we already have too many of that issue or series, the condition is not what was originally claimed, the baseline price is too high or the books weren't in your original list supplied to us. The best way to avoid having that happen is to provide us with as much accurate information ahead of time as you can.
